Tour starts with a visit of tree of the four Major Basilicas in Rome: St. Mary Major, the most important and best preserved of Roman Churches dedicated to Virgin Mary, with its 5th century mosaics;then proceed to St. John’s in Lateran.
The Basilica of St. John Lateran is the Cathedral Church of Rome and the official ecclesiastical seat of the Pope.
After a stop at the Holy Stairs, proceed to the ancient Appian Way, probably the most important of the Roman roads, until we reach the Catacombs, the ancient underground Cemeteries and extraordinary expression of faith to the earliest Christians.
